Looking for Something to Do in Cape May? Visit a Local Farm Stand or Market

Cape May Summer Farm Stands - Farm Fresh to Your Table

Shopping at a local farm stand in Cape May is the easiest way to eat Cape May local produce and support our farmers. Within a short drive in Cape May there are many local farm stands located in Cape May ,West Cape May, Cape May Courthouse and Lower Township. You can also plan a shopping market visit by visiting the local farmers market at the Cape May Ferry, West Cape May or Lower Township's markets.  We recently toured the Beach Plum Farm which is now open to the public to pick up some fresh product for our week end.

Cape May Ferry local Farmers Markets

Beginning June 30, 2012 and continuing through August 25, 2012 the local farmers market will be open every Saturday at the Cape May Ferry weather permitting from 9 AM until 1 PM more than 20 vendors have signed up to participate in the market. Some of the goods and programs available include fresh vegetables and flowers local Cape May berries, farm fresh eggs, grown herbs and homemade breads and baked goods. You can also find crab cakes, salads and oils, as well as local coffee roaster.

West Cape May Farmers Market - each Tuesday (3:00-7:30pm), late June through early September. The Market is located in the Backyard Park behind the West Cape May Municipal Complex, 732 Broadway. Featuring not only fresh produce and herbs, but, among others, purveyors of antiques, live art demonstrations, fresh coffee, barbecue, seafood and kettle corn. Limited free parking.

Lower Township's Farmers Market -each Friday (3:00-7:30pm), early July through early September. The Market is located at 2600 Bayshore Road, behind the Lower Twp. Municipal Building.
