photo 217 webHistoric Cold Spring Village kicks off the 2015 season with its signature fundraiser, Feasting on History. The annual restaurant gala is one of the most anticipated social events of the season- now in its 15th year! Feasting on History will be held at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at the Cape May Airport on Tuesday, May 5th at 6pm. Over 45 of Cape May County’s favorite restaurants, wineries, and breweries, generously donate popular foods, signature dishes, wine, craft beers and desserts. Last year, nearly 700 guests enjoyed a night of food, music and networking while celebrating the mission of Historic Cold Spring Village. The presenting sponsor of Feasting on History is Sturdy Savings Bank. Additional support has been provided by the Cape May-Lewes Ferry and Cape May Airport, Gaiss’ Market, Cape May Magazine, Billmae Cottage and Ford Scott & Associates.
Feasting on History not only supports the Village and its mission of historic preservation, history education and heritage tourism, it also offers guests the opportunity to celebrate their favorite restaurants and dining experiences in the company of friends and colleagues. The gala will feature the second annual “Best of Feasting on History” contest, giving guests the chance to vote for their favorite dishes, desserts and drinks. This year’s event will also feature a silent auction, where guests can bid on sports memorabilia, artwork, vacations, special event tickets and much more! Proceeds from the 15th Annual Restaurant Gala are being dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the early 19th century Stillwell and Elizabeth Corson Barn, the future site of the Cold Spring Brewery.
Tickets to Feasting on History are $80 per person, or $750 for a table of ten. Seating will only be reserved for groups of ten guests. For all other guests there will be open seating. Advanced ticket sales only.
Order your tickets online now or by calling (609) 898-2300, ext. 10.
