Convention Hall Extends Roller Skating Hours

CAPE MAY – Cape May Convention Hall will extend roller skating hours on Fridays and Sundays due to the overwhelming success of the roller skating program. Roller skating sessions will now run for five hours offering patrons more flexibility with when they want to arrive.

Doors for roller skating on Feb. 8 will open at 4 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. And starting on Feb. 10, roller skating will begin at noon and conclude at 5 p.m. Saturdays will remain the same with two two hour sessions. The first session is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and the second session is from 4 p.m to 6 p.m. Skaters are encouraged to visit www.capemayrecreation.org for holiday hours and possible time changes.

Guests may bring their own standard or in-line skates or they can rent them from our facility. Admission and skate rentals are based on two hour allotments of time. Admission fee is $5 per person. Skate rental is $2 for traditional skates and $4 for in-line skates. Admission for non-skaters is $2.

Skaters can take a break from the action and enjoy soft drinks, water, and light snacks at the concession stand for affordable prices.

Roller skating at Cape May Convention Hall will continue through April 7, 2013 and then resume in December of 2013 for the winter season.
