Jersey Shore Pops 2013 Summer Concert Series Tickets On Sale


Jersey Shore Pops 2013 Summer Concert Series includes(Top L. to R.) Conductor Linda Gentille, Singer Peter Oprisko, Soprano Jacklyn Buckingham, The Music of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, CanadianClaude Eric, Tenor Aaron Caruso and Tenor Colm Fitzmaurice.
COURT HOUSE – Linda Gentille and The Jersey Shore Pops announce that their 2013 Summer Concert Series will go on sale on July 27, 2013. The orchestra has expanded the concert series next year to include 8 concerts at The Middle Township Performing Arts Center, located in Cape May Court House.
The Jersey Shore Pops 2013 Summer Concert Series will include 8 concerts with a focus on international guest stars from around the world. The series will open at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center the last weekend in June.
The eight concert series is as follows:
June 29, 7:30 p.m.: “The Irish Tenor” starring amazing Broadway Vocalist Colm Fitzmaurice. Broadway Tenor Colm Fitzmaurice thrills audiences around the world with his gorgeous tenor voice on Irish and Broadway favorites.
July 6, 7:30 p.m.: “Stars & Stripes Forever” starring JSP conductor & piano entertainer Linda Gentille. Conductor Linda Gentille performs a patriotic tribute to celebrate the great music of America.
July 13, 7:30 p.m.: “Music of Michael BublĂ©” starring French Canadian singing sensation Claude Eric. This popular casino and cruise headliner performs the music of Michael BublĂ© with a French twist.
July 21, 7:30 p.m.: “The Italian Tenor” starring Aaron Caruso: One of the greatest singers of our time performs Italian and Broadway classics.
July 28, 7:30 p.m.: “Swingin Sixties” starring Jim Yester and the YesterDaze. If you loved music of the Sixties and “The Association,” you will want to be here for this show. Jim Yester, original founding member of the Association and his band play all the great hits of both!
Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m. “Classics Rock” starring conductor & pianist Linda Gentille: This is a brand new show that Linda performs on cruises around the world with all her own arrangements of the most popular classics of all time!
Aug. 10, 7:30 p.m.: “Music of The Glenn Miller Orchestra.” This show is going to be one of the highlights of the season that will feature all of the great hits of Glenn Miller.
Aug. 10, 7:30 p.m.: “Sinatra & Friends” starring Peter Oprisko: Back by popular demand yet again is this amazing singer of Sinatra standards. He performs the music of Sinatra and the Rat Pack with additional songs by Judy Garland. This show will close the 2013 summer concert series with a bang.
The Pops will offer three different season ticket passes. The “Platinum Season Pass” includes all 8 shows on both the Sat. and Sun. night series. The advance discount price is $220 which includes the opening night reception on June 29. The “Gold Season Pass” is for the 5 Sat. evening shows and the advance discount price is $150. The “Silver Season Pass” includes the 3 Sun. night series shows and the advance discount price is $75. Individual tickets to the performances will not go on sale until Feb., 2013 to give season ticket purchasers the premier choice of orchestra center seating. The individual tickets will range from $25 for balcony seating to $50 for VIP orchestra center seating.
This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. The funds were administered by the Cape May County Culture and Heritage Commission, under the authority of the County Library Commission, for the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
To purchase tickets to the 2013 Jersey Shore Pops Summer Concert Series please call the JSP Ticket Office at 800-838-3006 or the PAC at 609 463-1924. The PAC is open Mon. to Fri. from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for walk-in ticket purchase and is located at the Middle Township High School, Exit 10 (GSP).
