Jersey Cape Shell Show, Sale Set Aug. 17-19


STONE HARBOR – Feeling a Bit Crabby? Take a trip to the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor, NJ, Aug. 17, 18 and 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fri. and Sat., or 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sun. for the 2012 Jersey Cape Shell Show and Sale. See some amazing sea life and beach finds. So many fun activities will definitely improve your mood.
View the many artistic and scientific displays created by shell artists and collectors from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, New York, and other areas. Jewelry, gifts, rare seashells and decorative items are for sale. Take a chance to win fabulous raffle prizes, or compete in the largest shell competition for clam, razor clam, moon, oyster, or local conch shells. Children can make and take crafts from noon to 2 p.m. each day of the show.
Admission is only $2 for adults, and admission is free for children under 12 or for Jersey Cape Shell Club Members. Yearly club membership is $8 for individuals or $12 for the entire family. Sign up for membership at the show, and receive a free pin along with free admission to the show.
