Renardo Shockley of Ocean View was spotted riding his horse, Yoshanna, along Route 9 Tuesday.
Shockley attracted a few gawkers while he rode Yoshanna from his home in Ocean View down to Rio Grande and back.
“It was nice out and I wanted to take her out for a good ride,” he said.
