Passing the Cape May Tiny Ferry in the Cape May Canal |
Last summer we took a boat ride around the tip of Cape May, we traveled across to Lewes Delaware and entered back into the Cape May Harbor via the Cape May Canal. The Canal has a great safe entrance and is well marked for all local boaters in Cape May. Overall we had a great day, smooth flat water and we picked up some Dolphins off shore will making the round by the Cape May Lighthouse.
We apologize for the shaky video, this was shot from a iPhone from the Fly bridge of the Boat while entering the Cape May Canal. For more information on Cape May please visit our Cape May Resort site.
Here's a few images from our summer trip taken from the Boat on the way back to the Cape May Canal from Delaware. You will have to be careful of the Cape May Ferry Boats during the busy summer, once you pass the terminal entrance you will enter into the Cape May Canal which is flat and provides quick access to Cape May Harbor. Don't forget to stop by to Lobster House for a Dock and Dine in Cape May or many local boaters are visiting the Harbor View Marina, which normally has outdoor entertainment during the summer months and transient dock space. If you are looking to fuel up again try, Cape May Marina visit Utsch's Marina, which both have very easy access off the Intercoastal Waterway.
