It's Shoulder Season in Cape May time to Relax and Rejuvenate the Spirit
New Years is over and the Holiday Seasons are coming to an end. It's officially shoulder season here in Cape May. The town is empty during the week and and it's a great time to walk the beach and rejuvenate the spirit. You can always tell once the yellow blinking lights are put on automatic on Beach Avenue. I visited the local Cape May marinas and most of the boats are up tarmac all shrink wrapped and at sleep for the winter.
Wind swept beaches in Cape May during the Shoulder season |
No Traffic, no crowds, plenty of parking and you have the entire wind swept beach to yourself. It's the best time to come to Cape May visit a Spa, or sit in from of a fireplace with a drink or try a Little discounted shopping on the mall. You can always stop into Louisa's to get your chocolate fix.
Shoulder Season is a Good Value in Cape May, with the increase demand that typically boost Cape May Resort Prices during the Summer and Fall, when we all want to visit, it deflates in the winter season.
Oftentimes the shoulder season in Cape May offers the visitor a combination of desirable prices and mild weather.
The Virgina Hotel Cape May, a warm glowing Fireplace during the Winter Season |
So come on down and plan a romantic evening, sit in front of the fireplace a the Virginia Hotel or visit the Brown Room and relax. The shoulder season to me in Cape May is the best time of the year to relax and rejuvenate for the New Year.
