Looking for Something To Do in Cape May Today?
Visit the Cape
May County Zoo located on Route 9 only five miles or a 10 minute drive
from the center of Cape May, New Jersey. Plan for a day outdoors with
some walking for about two hour stay, pack your lunch or eat at the Zoo.
The park has many shaded stations to stop and rest , and concession
areas. The best part of your trip is that the admission to the Cape May
County Zoo is free, and you can make a donation at your own discretion.
If
you use the picnic shelters, wedding gazebo and groups visiting by bus
or passenger vans are required to pay and make a reservation.
Parking
is free, and you can expect the parking lot to be very full during the
Summer Months. This is a great spot for the kids or adults to enjoy a
day. I would expect to plan a full half day or you can do the Zoo in
about 2-3 hours.
The Cape May Zoo was recently rated number three
in the country, and a fantastic resource for all visitors with spending
a lot for a great day. Pack a lunch, bring a digital camera for some
great shots, and wear comfortable walking shoes.
